Why we protect signup
Rig Rooms gives new players welcome packs, referral rewards, and a free path into mining. That only works when each account is a real person who intends to play. Anti-spam and anti-abuse checks exist so throwaway and farmed accounts cannot drain free value from the ecosystem.
What we stand against
We actively resist spam signups, gibberish or machine-made identities, and other multi-account abuse that treats Rig Rooms as a free-loot faucet. We do not publish the exact checks — that would only help abusers. Legitimate players should use a normal personal email they can verify.

Free starter packs and onboarding rewards would be claimed by throwaway accounts in bulk. Real new players would compete with farms for promo value and support attention.
Referral rewards collapse
Referral bonuses only make sense when each referred signup is a distinct person. Without protections, self-referral loops and synthetic friend trees would drain rewards without growing the community.

Farm accounts can turn free packs into marketplace pressure, undercut prices, and siphon value meant for active miners. That hits everyone who earns fairly.
Leaderboards and progression skew
Multi-accounts can park free gear across many profiles, inflate rankings, and game progression ladders. Fair competition depends on one player, one lasting account.
Support and trust erode
Spam signups create noise, abuse reports, and ban waves. Honest players pay through slower support, harsher emergency locks, and a less trustworthy marketplace.
