Getting Started
Everything you need for your first hour in Rig Rooms — from signup to a fully operational mining rig.
The mining loop
- 1. Sign up — get a custodial wallet and welcome packs
- 2. Deploy a rig frame in Starter Bay (free 6×6 grid)
- 3. Slot components: motherboard → GPUs → PSU → fans → cables
- 4. Your operational rig earns hash rate → mining rewards in $COMPUTE
- 5. Buy SP with $COMPUTE → open packs → upgrade and expand

In-game tutorial
| Step | Title | What to do |

| 1 | Welcome to your Mining Bay | This is where you deploy mining rigs, slot in GPUs and components, and grow your hash rate to earn more rewards. |
| 2 | The Deployment Zone | The grid on the floor is your placement area — bigger rooms have larger grids so you can deploy more rigs. Hover any cell for hints. |
| 3 | Mining Rooms | Switch between bays using the tabs above. Each room is larger than the last — Starter is 6×6, Premium Lab is 14×14. Unlock bigger rooms to deploy more equipment. |
| 4 | Deploy Items | Hit "Room Items" to open your inventory panel. From there you can place rig frames from your inventory onto the grid. |
| 5 | Place a Rig Frame | Click any empty grid cell to open your rig frame inventory, or use the sidebar + button. Only frames go on the floor — components mount inside them. |
| 6 | Slot in Components | Select your placed rig, then click slots in build order: motherboard → GPUs → PSU → fans → cables → boost. Consumables temporarily increase hash rate. |
| 7 | Earn More Hash Rate | GPUs increase your hash rate. Fans keep rigs cool. PSUs power everything. More components = higher MH/s = better mining rewards. |
| 8 | You're Ready to Mine | Deploy a frame, fill the slots, and watch your rig status climb. Replay this tutorial anytime with the Tutorial button. |

First operational rig checklist
- ✓ Rig frame placed on the grid
- ✓ Motherboard mounted
- ✓ At least one GPU installed
- ✓ PSU with enough wattage for all GPUs
- ✓ All fan slots filled
